Not Disabled, Just Differently-abled: Supporting Those With Developmental Disabilities

The stigma that developmental disabilities may hinder people from having a happy and successful life is something our agency does not agree with — we understand that with the proper resources and help, people living with these disabilities can thrive. This is why we are excited to support Hope Services in its mission to offer services that help enrich the lives of children, adults, and seniors living with disabilities in California.

Since 1952, Hope Services has delivered a range of services to thousands of people with developmental disabilities. They currently help approximately 3,500 participants and their families, from infants through seniors. They offer a wide range of services that serve different age groups. For instance, their Early Intervention Services help children from birth to age five with individualized plans and ongoing developmental monitoring. The services also include family training and education, as well as emotional support and counseling, to name a few. Because they also help older age groups, they also provide life skill training, academic enrichment, and specialized job coaching!

The work done by Hope Services is monumental and really makes a difference — and you can too! When you recommend someone to us for a quote, we offer to donate $20 on your behalf. And yes, that is for EACH friend you send us. How many do you have? Do the math!
