For thirty years, Family Supportive Housing has been helping homeless families with children get back on their feet. By addressing their needs for food, shelter, employment and education, this amazing organization provided 52,000 shelter nights and 186,000 hot meals in 2015 to 252 adults and 384 children from cities throughout the South Bay.
Some of Family Supportive Housing’s programs include the San Jose Family Shelter and Bridges Aftercare. Within these programs, the organization offers more specific workshops and supportive services including intensive case management, medical resources and referrals, housing search support, and life skills, financial, educational and health workshops.
